Cub Scouts in South Pasadena visited with senior citizens in local senior communities. The seniors visited were in independent and assisted living situations. Some were physically limited, and some were in varying stages of dementia. Scouts interviewed the seniors about their lives and spent time in conversation. They also delivered placemats, cards, and bookmarks that they had spent time creating. Our pack established relationships with the two facilities such that we expect to return in the future and expect to correspond with the facilities and individual residents.
