This is about Rashtriya Matdaan Jagrukta Diwas. Voting is said to be "matdaan" in Hindi. "Mat+Daan= apne vichaaro ka Daan" which implies giving Expression of your thoughts. Give your votes to a deserving candidate by thinking wisely. Our honorable District Magistrate Sandeep Kaur showed the green flag to rally and commanded to start the rally on the national voters day. All students of Degree college, different fields like NCC, NSS, scout guides, Rovers and Rangers and social workers have participated in this rally. The slogans have been continuously spoken in the rally with great enthusiasm. Rally was started from Town Hall then it moved ahead to shaheed Bhagat Singh chauraha, Ghanta ghar, Maahil Talab, Allahabad Bank chauraha n reached to Sanaatan Dharm Mahavidhyalaya ground. All the students have taken the pledge to cast their votes as they'll become eligible for it. The pledge was first spoken by respective district magistrate Sandeep Kaur and then all the students have repeated the pledge after her. Then various competitions like slogan competition, poster making competition, rangoli competition and Nukkad Natak etc have organised. The participation of students is rememberable and certificates have been provided to them as a sign of remembering. The persons who have voted this time, first have also been honoured by District Magistrate. The district magistrate said that each vote is very important and we should definitely cast our vote for the betterment of this country. You have got the chance of voting after 5 years so you should definitely use your right to cast your vote, it is very precious. Each vote belongs for the development of the country we should fulfill our duty of voting for making a better country. We should go for voting with our family. The superintendent of Police, Dr. Rakesh Singh, SDM Akshay Tripathi, CO sir and other respective officers attended this program.
