This project aimed at enhancing the knowledge and understanding of the Messengers of Peace initiative, a flagship initiative of WOSM. Apart from spreading awareness about Messengers of Peace, a second important issue is that we gathered more inspiring stories from the grassroots of what Scouts are doing to be change agents, as active citizens, and as Messengers of Peace. We are sure that there are several amazing activities that Scouts are doing around the world, everyday, but these stories never get told and shared widely. At the global level, World Scouting also holds a position from which it can inspire more and more good actions by Scouts around the world. Last but not least we want to increase the promotion of good actions undertaken by Scouts.. Some effective tools and support systems needs to be put in place to help resolve these issues. But what is clear is that the potential to do more exists. And more than ever before, today, the world needs more and more Scouts doing more such good actions to help create a “Better World”.
