Rovers and Rangers of Barddhaman Sadar District Association, The Bharat Scouts & Guides, West Bengal, took an initiative to conduct a Workshop on Messenger of Peace on 14th January, 2019, in the district level. It was a pleasure to work along with fellow Scouts and Guides of the District Association. Approx 200 young Scouts & Guides took part in this Workshop.
The day started with Flag Ceremony at 08:00 AM, followed by the Workshop at 08:30 AM onwards. The young minds showed great enthusiasm to gain knowledge on Messenger of Peace.
We also oganised a Peace March (road rally) in the town on 11:00 AM. The scouts and guides marched along the roads of the town with placards and posters made on peace. The workshop finally concluded with the Vote of Thanks by myself (District Youth Committee Chairman).
