The very 1st time in Malaysia, collaboration between AKA Balloon and Overlanders 3F (O3F), we succeeded to fly (which actually tethered) the hot air balloon in Kg. Orang Asli Pos Tenau, Ulu Slim, Perak involving indigenous peoples. At the 2350ft above sea level, a hot air balloon was successfully flown. It was a great experience when we see the happy faces of the pupils of SK Pos Tenau and the rest of the villagers to fly with the air balloon for the first time in their lives. Although some of them were hesitated and skeptical at the beginning, but after being assured and invited several times, they eventually braced up and get into the basket to fly. Very much thank you to all teachers of SK Tenau for the cooperation given in a way to materialise our hope. This wouldn’t happen without their help.
