MALAYATTOR PILGRIMAGE SERVICE
The primary motivation for addressing forest fires, first aid, and emergency communication is to protect human life and minimize catastrophic community destruction by empowering individuals with practical, life-saving readiness and response skills.
To execute the Malayattoor pilgrimage communication project, rovers with Ham radio licenses deployed at all 14 crosses. They established a wireless mesh network for instant emergency relay, provided basic first aid to exhausted trekkers, and coordinated with local police to trace and reunite missing children.Rovers also help in reduce spreading of fire while devotees lights the candle
Volunteering for the Malayattoor pilgrimage service taught vital lessons in teamwork, crisis response, and environmental care while helping manage forest safety, providing first aid, and running emergency communication for thousands of devotees
