MAIHS Scouts conducts Outreach/Feeding Program
The Mansilingan Agro Industrial High School scouts decided that a Feeding program or outreach program would be a good start for the new scouts we recruited this year. We hope to inspire our new scouts to understand that helping other people is now part of their duty.
The project was held at The Home for the Blind Village, Mansilingan, Bacolod City. We prepared the materials needed (styro cups, ingredients, and prizes) two days before the outreach program. At around 2:30 in the afternoon,we started to introduce the organization and proceeded to play games, giving prizes. After that, the feeding program started and it was filled with the smiles and giggles of the children. We then cleaned up the space used then proceeded to thank the organizers of the project.
50 people were impacted by this project, especially the kids who we played games with.
social skills and communication skills were improved.
