Kitchen of Humanity - Part 2

Haryana Warriors Open Group, Bhiwani, launched "THE KITCHEN OF HUMANITY" project with the help of our dedicated Rovers and Scouts. This initiative involves distributing free food to all who approach the stall at Lohad Peer Baba Mandir every Thursday. Our aim is to serve cooked meals as "Prasad" within the temple premises using eco-friendly bowls, ensuring a plastic-free drive. Our team ensures proper disposal of used bowls. Serving mankind and the community is our fundamental goal.
Location - Bhiwani, We all rovers came together and decided to initiate project of food distribution and so resolve to execute the same at Baba Lohar Peer Mandir. Accordingly we visited the site and looked out for the various amenities available there for our project. After checking this we sat together to finalise the same. we made a trail run of our project which was limited to food distribution for 100 people, once it was successful and satisfying we executed the final project on 1st June 2023
The under privilege children otherwise do not have access to proper meal as per their body requirements and we are atleast able to provide them food for 1 day. We could inform the people and the local inhabitants about the scouting movement and the work that scouts do to bring a positive impact on the community. We could aware the people about using eco-friendly and easily disposable material and also aware them about stop using the single use plastic material.
The main learning which we have obtained from this particular project is that only human being have that capacity of supporting each other At time of need. We as human being have all the resources to support thr people of our community when it is time of difficulty. Scouting teaches us about duty to god and duty to others and this project helped us in performing our duty to others.
