The Falguna(Phalguna) festival is the main festival being celebrated in Khatushyamji Temple. It is celebrated in the month of Phalguna(February/March) for 5 days from "Phalguna Shukla Paksha Asthami" to "Phalguna Shukla Paksha Dwadasi" in every year. In 2015, the Falgina Mela will be celebrated from February 26, 2015 (Thursday) to March 2, 2015 (Monday). The Phalguna Mela is also called as NISHAN YATRA. It means HOLY Journey to Khatu Shyam Ji. A large number of devotees perform FOOT JOURNEY from Ringus(19km from KhatuShyam Baba Mandir) to Khatu Shyamji Dham. During this foot journey, devotees purchase NISHAN(Flag) and start their journey to Khatu Shyam Ji Mandir. During this 19km foot journey, devotees perform Bhajans and chanting Shri ShyamBaba Ji. A large no of devotees(approx. 40lakh) across India visit temple and have a darshan of Baba ShyamSheesh(Head) during mela period.
