The main purpose of this programme is to giving test to the cub scouts (age between 8 to 11 years old) for the upcomming Kem Ujian Lencana Keris Emas (the highest merit badge for the cub scouts). Apart from that, the cub scouts have a chance to do a community project whereby the cub scouts do the community service by cleaning a primary school area. There are 50 cub scouts who attended for the upgredding merit badge. The programme involved 5 primary schools within Sembulan district. The Sembulan district consist 14 schools combining with the primary and secondary schools. The cub scouts who manage to finish their merit badges until Keris Emas will receive the Chief Scout Commissioner of Sabah Award which be held on the March 2018 whereby there will be joining together with another cub scouts from different districts.
