International Peace Day Celebration: Peace run, Moment of silence, Peace movie screening and Feast Night.

The atmosphere was soothing and friendly. It was neither cold nor hot. The day favored the crowd gathering by the courtyard of the Faculty of Traditional Medicine (FoTM). It was the "International Peace Day", 21st September. The students of FoTM and few active participants from the Department of Traditional Medicine led by the Rovers of FoTM observed the day. A total of 100 participants participated in the "Peace Run". The essence of the day was further lighted and aspired by the presence of our enthusiastic Dean of FoTM who actively participated and motivated the students on the aspects of bringing up peace.

This memorable day ended with an evening programme wherein a moment of silence was observed by the participants for a minute in honour of some of the great peace promoters of past and thd present around the world. And it was closely followed by a movie screening to the students, "an inspirational movie" of finding happiness. The ventures, sacrifices, consistency and hopes were some of the core values of the movie. The "Feast Night" was also organised along with the movie where the students shared their edibles with all other friends. It was aimed to spark the aspects of socialisation, sharing, caring and understanding.
