the youth department of imo state scout council NIGERIA,initiated and encouraged security consciousness in the state.this was carried out at the just concluded youth camping/jota joti in the state.youth department also invited trained personnel {the divisional police officer of shell camp police station owerri imo state} to educate members of the scout and the state at large on the need to be security conscious ,as this will promote peace in the state. after the lecture we embarked on community awareness in the state on the need of being security conscious in the state. the programme was attended by 40 scout and 5 non scouts .it was organised by the state headquarter commissioner youth engagement,NKWOCHA JUDE.
