Iftar Project by South Jakarta's Scouters
It's always about providing better nutrition for others as well as it on the holy month of Ramadan. People were not having meals from sunrise to sunset and it must be heavy to went through those days. Values of the project is pushed by the motivation from the holy words of Prophet Muhammad PBUH for everyone giving meals to other in fasting surely granted the reward as the fasting ones without reducing the others reward.
We packed all the meals from daylight and distribute them to the drivers passing around the intersection of Jagakarsa's road. Sometimes it was a shining afternoon, and some were heavy-poured rainy weather's on the spot. We concluded the project at 6pm when it comes to us for break our own fast. Then we proceed to the HQ for evaluation and congregation prayers.
People were happy to know that they don't have to wait much longer for breaking their fast properly in a daily-tight traffic of Jakarta. And the important things that every single scouts participating were doing a daily good turn in a holy month of Ramadan.
We encourage to understand people better in the times of hunger and need. We always learn that every deed would surely granted more than we ever imagine. As a scout, we try to treat people in a most honored manner to be.
