A total to 43 scouts and CBS members registered to volunteer during His Majesty's visit to Samdrup Jongkhar. Though the visit was scheduled on 28/01/2017, a week long preparation was done for the day. All the volunteers were divided in different group to assist Thromde Administration, Dzongkhag Administration and Police Personnel. As the visit was planned in public ground to accommodate the crowd, volunteers actively participated in clearing and watering the ground , tent pitching, making entry gates, fencing premises, ensuring security and crowd control. After the function, volunteers gather on 29/01/2017 to dismantlement all the tents, gates and other structure and safely return of all the belonging to concern authorities.
