in 2012 our school was to organize the Yasawa North Sports Tournament. this tournament is seen as the basis of creating peace and harmony between the villagers. even though only students take part but the whole of Yasawa North gether together and take part in the soli (fundraising) and cheering and dancing. we were supposed to organise it but we had no ground. we had the task of clearing a flat land near our school for the ground. it took us whole of term 1,2 and half of term 3 to get the ground ready. the teachers and students and the villagers of teci spent 2 hours daily in the afternoons for this project. on the day event the whole of Yasawa North village people were there and students of 3 different school
