Troop 33 and Pack 33, both chartered under the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church in the City of Takoma Park, Maryland, partnered with Community Gathering for Love in Takoma Park, and many other individuals and organizations from the community, to: participate in an assembly to mourn the loss of life in the recent Orlando, Florida shooting; express solidarity with grieving communities, families, and friends; demonstrate the Boy Scouts of America's commitment to diversity, inclusiveness, and resolution to chose peace over hostility and violence.
