Fruit Plants Distribution

The Primary school of Bharat Scout and Guide, Jullad Unit, in collaboration with the Horticulture Department, District Udhampur, planted and distributed fruits plants in Panchayat Uppar Bali and Modh. During this period, 924 fruit plants were distributed to about 154 farmers. On this occasion,member of District Development Council (DDC) Narsoo Subhash Chandra appeared as the Chief Guest.During the camp, Horticulture Development Officer Revati Raman Sharma informed the farmers about various schemes of the Horticulture Department, motivating them to plant fruit trees, to handle them, to plant poison-free domestic orchards. Rakesh Sharma, Technician Officer of the Horticulture Department, informed the farmers about the importance of the nutritional elements of fruits and vegetables and motivated them to plant fruitier plants.This will also protect the environment and can also increase your income by selling fruits. Farmers should take up horticulture taking advantage of the schemes implemented by the department. On this occasion social workers Sukhdev Sharma, Jasvir Singh, Panch Mukhtiar Chand, Panch Sandal Singh, Panch Shamsher Singh and a large number of farmers attended. The stage Operation was done by Scout Master Rakesh Sharma. At the end of the program, Scout Master Amardev Singh thanked all the members of the Horticulture Department and all the others present and took the promise of cooperation in the works of Public Welfare in future.
