Cub scouts help hungry people in Scouting for Food

Hunger is a problem even in well-to-do areas. The largest annual food drive to support the local food bank is Scouting for Food. The cub scouts wanted to do their part in local peacebuilding.
This food collection was done in the residential neighborhood around the place where the scouts meet. One week, the scouts left bags at homes, and a week later, they picked them up full of food donations for the food bank.
An unknown number of people benefited from this project, but enough food was collected to feed perhaps 100 people.
The scouts learned teamwork. Perhaps it could be improved by bringing more maps.
