Community Service Through Typhoid Vaccination
We were inspired by the government’s nationwide effort to protect children and families from typhoid fever. As Scouts committed to community service, we felt responsible to stand beside health workers and help ensure that every eligible person received the vaccine safely and effectively.
We worked alongside local health workers to support the Government’s Typhoid Vaccination Campaign 2025. Our responsibilities included maintaining order at the vaccination center, assisting during the vaccination process, guiding parents, and raising awareness about typhoid prevention. Through active participation and teamwork, I helped ensure that the campaign ran smoothly and efficiently within the community.
Through this campaign, we learned the value of collaboration, discipline, and empathy in public health initiatives. It taught us how community support and volunteer service can play a vital role in achieving disease prevention goals and strengthening trust between citizens and health authorities.
