Community service and Cultural Program

  1. To provide leadership responsibilities: To give scouts opportunities to take on leadership roles, develop confidence, make decisions, communicate effectively, and learn how to work responsibly with others.

  2. To support community health and well-being: To contribute to a healthier and safer community by promoting cleanliness, proper waste management, and healthy living practices.

  3. To motivate people to keep their surroundings clean: To encourage community members to take responsibility for maintaining clean surroundings and to develop regular habits of proper waste disposal and environmental care.

  4. To build civic sense and responsibility: To develop a strong sense of civic responsibility among scouts and community members by encouraging them to actively participate in community service, respect public spaces, and understand that keeping the community clean is a shared responsibility.

As part of the project, we carried out a cleaning campaign around the school premises and along the roadside. The scouts actively participated in collecting litter and cleaning the areas, helping to make the surroundings cleaner, safer, and more pleasant for everyone. Through this activity, we also encouraged the community members living along the roadside to understand the importance of keeping their surroundings clean and taking responsibility for proper waste disposal.

Following the cleaning campaign, we organized a cultural program based on the theme “Action to a Peaceful World.” The program provided an opportunity for the scouts to express their ideas about peace, unity, cooperation, and responsible citizenship through cultural performances. It also helped spread the message that peace begins with our everyday actions and that working together to care for our community is one way of contributing to a peaceful world.

Overall, the project was meaningful because it combined community service, environmental awareness, and cultural activities. Most importantly, our efforts helped fulfill the needs and expectations of the community members along the roadside. Seeing the cleaner surroundings and the positive response from the community gave us a sense of satisfaction and encouraged us to continue taking part in activities that contribute to a cleaner, healthier, and more peaceful community.
