As part of the Peace Programme in Castle Saunderson our cubs have chosen to do community clean ups. Each cub scout is choosing an area in their local community to clean up.This means that a wider group of areas will benefit from their work both in Galway city and in the surrounding areas. They are completing a Risk Assessment Form before doing their clean up as we have discussed the importance of risk assessment in our cub meetings and they are taking photos of the event in their area. Parents and siblings are encouraged to participate also. Risk assessment forms are returned to the scouters before the clean up takes place.
