Coastal Cleaning Program
The motivation behind our Coastal Cleaning Program is to protect and preserve the natural beauty and biodiversity of our coastal areas. Pollution from plastic waste, debris, and human activities is harming marine life and affecting the health of our oceans. Through this program, we aim to raise public awareness about the importance of maintaining clean beaches and to inspire individuals to take responsibility for their environment.
Our Coastal Cleaning Project was conducted along the banks of the Taki Ichhamoti River in collaboration with the Rash Behari Bose Scout Group. This initiative focused on removing plastic waste, discarded materials, and other pollutants from the riverfront to protect aquatic life and maintain the beauty of this important waterway. Scouts and volunteers worked together to collect debris, segregate waste, and spread awareness among local communities about keeping the river clean.
Through this plan, we cleaned the banks of the Ichamati River with the help of our group and got into a good habit of beautifying and cleaning the environment.
