A cleaner community begins with you and me.

As a Rover Scout, I’m committed to serving the community. This project was inspired by the need to take responsibility for our surroundings. I wanted to lead by example _ by cleaning public areas and encouraging others to keep their environment clean and safe. It’s how I put my Scout values into action.

I identified 3 dirty spots near schools and roads. With 10 volunteers, we cleaned around 120 kg of trash and plastic. We set up 4 awareness signs to promote cleanliness. We directly spoke with about 100 locals (students, guardians, shopkeepers), encouraging them to keep the area clean. Around 700 people benefit from the cleaner environment daily. The project was successful due to teamwork, planning, and strong community engagement.

Through this project, I learned that small actions can create big changes. I understood the importance of teamwork, leadership, and community responsibility. Most importantly, I saw how one good step can inspire others and make a lasting impact on the environment.
