Clean Train, Healthy Journey
Cleanliness in public transport is a shared responsibility. We started this Swachhata Awareness Drive to encourage passengers to use dustbins, avoid littering, and maintain hygiene during their journey. Our objective was to create awareness about responsible travel habits, promote environmental protection, and support the vision of Swachh Bharat. Through this initiative, we hoped to inspire every passenger to play a small but meaningful role in keeping our trains and railway stations clean.
Traffic Group Asansol of Eastern Railway Bharat Scouts & Guides conducted a Swachhata Awareness Drive in trains and railway premises. Scouts and Rovers interacted with passengers, promoted the use of dustbins, and spread awareness about cleanliness, hygiene, and responsible waste disposal through posters and direct communication. The campaign encouraged everyone to keep trains and stations clean.
This project taught us that small actions can create a big impact when people work together. We learned the importance of teamwork, effective communication, and public awareness in promoting cleanliness. Interacting with passengers helped us understand the value of civic responsibility and inspired us to continue serving the community with dedication.
