❤️ “Blood for Life – BSG Foundation Day Special"
Every year, The Bharat Scouts and Guides celebrates Foundation Day on 7th November, a day that reminds us of our duty to serve others. Inspired by the Scout motto “Service Before Self”, we decided to organize a Blood Donation Programme to promote the spirit of humanity and social responsibility. Our goal was to encourage Scouts, Guides, and the community to come forward and contribute towards saving lives through voluntary blood donation.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a cultural dance performance and an exhibition highlighting health awareness and community service. The Blood Donation Camp was successfully conducted in collaboration with local health authorities, ensuring a safe and organized environment. Dignitaries and officials graced the event, motivating everyone to continue serving society with dedication and compassion.
Through this project, we learned the true meaning of teamwork, coordination, and selfless service. It taught us how collective efforts can create a meaningful impact in the community. We realized the importance of awareness about blood donation and how even a small act of kindness can save lives. The experience strengthened our leadership skills, boosted our confidence, and deepened our commitment to the values of the Bharat Scouts and Guides — duty to others, service, and compassion.
