I am a Cub Scout Leader from 1st Erskine Park Scout Group in Sydney NSW Australia. My project was to organise the youth members in my Scout Group to donate Christmas Gifts to kids from 0 to 18 years and who are less fortunate than ourselves so that they could have a gift to open for Christmas. I contacted Barnardos which is an organisation who support children and families in need. They have a program called Gifts for kids Christmas appeal. A date was set for all families and youth members to gather at the Scout Hall with their gifts. A representative from Barnardos attended and spoke to the youth members about what Barnardos does and who their gifts will go to. In total, our Scout Group donated 110 gifts.
