An awareness campaign was conducted by the Bharat Scouts and Guides on the growing danger of corona infection in the city. Local and Wardwise meetings were organized and people were given detailed information about the measures to prevent corona infection. Awareness campaign is being conducted in the city by the team of Scout Masters about the increasing risk of corona infection. Today, under the banner of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Scout Master Amar Dev Singh, Rakesh Sharma and Ved Dubey in a phased manner to inform the ward and local residents under the Information, Education and Communication System about the safety measures to be followed to prevent the infection of Corona virus. Giving information On the initiative of the Government of India, Scout Master Rakesh Singh and Amardev Singh distributed posters and pamphlets about the detailed guidelines of Home Quarantine issued by the Department of Health. They made the general public aware of the risk of infection. Scout master Rakesh Sharma and Ved Dubey also appealed public to participate in the random sampling test for Covid 19, which is being organized by the administration. Scout Master Vivek Gupta and Ajay Mathur distributed the pamphlets and assured the district administration to give their full support in every possible way to implement all the policies on the ground. It is pertinent to mention here that Bharat Scout and Guide Udhampur have also voluntarily participated in popularizing the Dirt Free India, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, all schemes launched by the district administration Udhampur.
