ANZAC Day Commemorations
ANZAC - Australian New Zealand Army Corps
ANZAC Day is New Zealand's and Australia's national day for commemorating specifically World War One, whilst also including WW2 and other conflicts.
Hundreds of Thousands of New Zealanders turn out for ANZAC Day every year, to commemorate and honour those that paid the ultimate sacrifice, whilst also looking to a more peaceful future.
We estimate that 7000 Scouts across New Zealand would have attended an ANZAC day parade, with many attending more than one. A group of 10 Rovers in Wellington attended six ANZAC day parades, spending 15 hours of their day doing so.
