1ST ASEAN ROVER MOOT, TUTONG DISTRICT PROGRAMME - ASEAN Rover Moot ends on a high note

THE 1st ASEAN Rover Moot (ARM)for Tutong District ended with a closing ceremony yesterday at the Dataran Gong Tiga Community Centre, Mukim Lamunin.

The guest of honour to present tokens of appreciations to the 70 Rover Scouts from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam was Tutong District Scouts Association (PPDB) Acting Scouts Commissioner ACP (Rtd) Haji Murad bin Haji Hadi. Also present were Acting Assistant Tutong District Officer Haji Haizul bin Haji Yahya and Penghulu of Mukim Lamunin Haji Tujoh bin Talip.

 Rover Scout from Singapore Rico Wan Jun Jie thanked to be invited to participate in the 1st ARM and connect with fellow scouts from other ASEAN member countries as well as to learn and experience new memories and knowledges.

Hosted by the Village Consultative Council of Kampong Lamunin (MPK Kampong Lamunin), the event included a demonstration on making the traditional dishes Kelupis and Ambuyat as well as cultural performances by Kedayan, Dusun and Tutong ethnic communities.
