As a scout leader, I guided and motivated young scouts to take action against climate change through the UPSHIFT program. Together, we learned that small steps today can create a big difference for tomorrow. By leading with purpose, I inspired them to act responsibly for a greener and better future.

Through this program, I learned the importance of guiding and motivating young people to take collective action for climate change. I realized that teamwork and youth innovation can bring practical solutions to global challenges. Most importantly, I discovered that as a scout leader, I can inspire lasting change by setting an example.

The UPSHIFT program on the theme ‘Climate Change, Act Now, Save Tomorrow’ was successfully executed at Phuentsholing Rigsar HSS from 15–17 August. Scouts actively participated in awareness sessions, group discussions, and solution-based activities to address climate issues. The program concluded with a collective pledge to act responsibly and inspire others for a sustainable future.
