La Conferencia Scout Interamericana dio inicio el día miércoles 26 de octubre en el Centro Cockrell, sede del Consejo de Sam Houston, localizado en la misma ciudad. Con mas de 300 participantes y 26 OSN que conforman la Región Interamericana. The Interamerican Scout Conference started wednesday 26th, october, in the headquarters of the Sam Houston Council, Cockrell Center, Houston. With more than 300 participants from 26 NSOs of the Interamerican Region. Se inició con una serie de Talleres educativos sobre iniciativas globales como el grupo de Deber con Dios, participación Juvenil, fortaleciendo el perfil del movimiento scout, cómo llegar a 100 millones, entre varios tópicos. Para luego pasar a las sesiones Plenarias del día, la presentación de los candidatos al Comité Scout Interamericano y la cena de Bienvenida. Global Initiative´s Workshops were the first items on the agenda, where the participants could address issues like Duty to God, Youth Engagement, Strengthening Scouting Profile, How to reach 100 million. Following with the Plenary Sessions of the day, the Interamerican Scout Committee Candidates presentation and the Welcome Dinner.
