Spiritual Hike: Kengkhar MSS

What inspired you to take up the project?

As one family of Kengkhar Middle Secondary School, we initiated a spiritual hike inspired by the core values of scouting. The hike provided a meaningful opportunity for teachers and students to come together, strengthen their relationships, and develop mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation.

What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?

By walking together, sharing experiences, and supporting one another, teachers and students built stronger bonds beyond the classroom. The activity promoted physical well-being, mental peace, environmental awareness, and a sense of belonging among all participants. As scouts, we believe that education is not limited to classroom learning. Activities like spiritual hikes help us develop good character, leadership skills, and compassion for others.

Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?

Through this activity, participants learned the importance of discipline, unity, respect, responsibility, and service to the community. The spiritual hike also encouraged students to appreciate nature, reflect on their personal values, and understand the importance of maintaining peace and harmony in society
