Nazhoen summer camp
What inspired you to take up the project?
Nazhoen Summer Camp 2026
The Nazhoen Summer Camp 2026 was organized by the Mongar Dzongkhag Scout Association from July 4 to July 8, 2026, at Chaskhar MSS, Mongar, Bhutan. The camp brought together young scouts from different schools across Mongar Dzongkhag, providing them with an opportunity to learn, interact, build friendships, and develop their leadership skills.
What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?
Through this project, I learned the importance of leadership, teamwork, communication, patience, and responsibility. I also learned how to guide and motivate younger scouts, work cooperatively with different people, and solve challenges together. Most importantly, the camp strengthened my confidence and taught me that good leadership means serving, supporting, and inspiring others.
Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?
The project was executed through the Nazhoen Summer Camp 2026, organized by the Mongar Dzongkhag Scout Association from July 4–8 at Chaskhar MSS. As a Scout Leader, I guided and supported young scouts through teamwork, leadership activities, outdoor learning, and group discussions. I encouraged participants to develop discipline, confidence, self-reliance, communication, and service-mindedness while working together with scouts from different schools.
