Womanang Primary School observed the International Day of Peace 2026 on 24 September 2026, under the theme “Invest in Peace – For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day.” The programme aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of peace, kindness, respect, cooperation, and non-violence.

The programme included an introduction to the International Day of Peace, a speech on building peace through everyday actions, and a Peace Pledge where students promised to respect others, speak kindly, avoid bullying, and resolve disagreements peacefully.

Students and teachers also participated in peace messages, drawings, and creative activities. The programme helped students understand that peace begins with small actions and that everyone has a role in creating a peaceful school and community.
