I was inspired to facilitate the UPSHIFT Programme to empower young people to identify community challenges, develop innovative solutions, and take meaningful action. The initiative, led globally by UNICEF in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD), motivated me to support students in developing creativity, problem-solving, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills.

I learned that young people can develop meaningful solutions when given the opportunity, guidance, and support. The project strengthened my skills in facilitation, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and youth empowerment.

I facilitated the UPSHIFT Programme by guiding students to identify community issues, work collaboratively, generate innovative ideas, and develop practical solutions. I supported them through brainstorming, teamwork, project planning, and implementation to promote creativity, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
