World Environment Day Coastal Clean Up and Tree Planting Project

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines, the oldest and fastest-growing youth organization in the country will be celebrating the 2014 world environment day on June 5-6, 2014 with a simultaneous Tree Planting Activity and Coastal Clean-Up throughout the country, spreading across 118 Local Councils and 10 Scouting Regions. The BSP Southern Tagalog Region’s concentration of this year will be the whole stretch of Laguna de Bay. This activity is a long-time partnership project with the Cola-Cola Far East, Ltd., and other partners that includes the Central Office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA), and this year with the City Government of Calamba, thru the Office of the City Mayor, Hon. JUSTIN MARC SB CHIPECO, Philippine National Police (City of Calamba), the City Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO), SEPHIL Co., DepEd Calamba, and our Associate Council.
