The Bharat Scouts and Guides National Headquarters organised a webinar on "#notHERfault-AN INITIATIVE TOWARDS GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE" on 16th, 20th and 29th December 2020. I got an opportunity to be in the webinar as a facilitar. The Webinar were divided into three main parts: Educate, Support and Speak up and Take the Pledge. In the first part, the sessions and activities aims to help the participants to explore some myths and beliefs used to excuse violence against women and girls and how blaming victims occurs. In the second part, that was Support, the activities aims to help the participants understand the impact of victim-blaming in girls’ and young women’s lives. Furthermore it supports to identify ways we can find support. In the Third and Last part, which was Speak up and Take the Pledge, sessions and activities on U-Report, victim-blaming and share the power of your voice were held. Also, participants took the pledge against victim-blaming. #notHERfault #ImHereForHer #BSGNHQ
