Place: -Madhupur“State Training Park” Eastern Railway Time :- 09:00am The Van-mahotsav was observed at “State Training Park” Eastern Railway State in befitting manner through a variety of colorful programme. Apart from the scouts, guides, and leaders. The well- wisher & railway officers of the movement took part in the function. under the observation Of Sri S S Gehlot Divisional Railway Manager/ District President, Md. Ishaq Khan ADRM. Asansol/ District Chief Commissioner(S), Sri Ashish Bhardwaj Sr. D.E.N Coordination / District Commissioner (Scout) Asansol, & Mr. Syed Jahangir Hobib, D.O.C (S),Asansol The Scouts Guides, Rovers Ranger, & honorable District President, District Chief Commissioner(S), District Commissioner (Scout) and Other officials & also participated in the Van-mahotsav programme. The mass plantation also most effective in fighting air pollution. The highlight of the drive was the mass tree plantation at S.T.P Madhupur & where over 40 trees were planted by Scouts, Guides, they showed great enthusiasm in planting these trees which they knew would recharge ground water, prevent soil erosion and prevent siltation of their river. A massive tree plantation drive was also carried out at madhupur. In spite of the rocky terrain and hardened soil. Programme:- 10:00am welcome ceremony 10:00am to 11:00 am Inauguration of Mass Tree Plantation Programme & Sapling Plantation 11:00 am to 11:30am cultural programme 11:35am Closing Ceremony Participants:- 33 no’s of Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers, And Leaders. Trees description:- About 40 trees were planted which are of different species. The name of the trees are listed as: mango tree, Jamun tree, kanak Champa, Neem, Deb-daru, Kathal etc. Future plan:- We have planned the project in the way that water source, and the place for compost will be managed and maintained properly.
