لمناسبة اليوبيل الذهبي لتأسيسها، وإيماناً منها بأهمية نشر الوعي البيئي، وسعياً لإعادة الأخضر الزاهي الى لبنان، نظمت جمعية الكشاف التقدمي حملة تشجير واسعة ل ٢٠٠٠ شجرة بعنوان "شجرة لكل كشاف" في مختلف المناطق اللبنانية، حيث غرس كلُّ شبل شجرة في حديقة منزله أو الشارع المجاور لسكنه، مع إعلان التزامه برعايتها. مشروع "شجرة لكل كشاف" رسالة خضراء وجزء من رسالة جمعية الكشاف التقدمي التربوية التقدمية على مدى خمسين عاماً، مع وعد بالاستمرار والتطور. Progressive Scout Association had arranged a large tree-planting campaign entitled by “A Tree for Every Scout” in various Lebanese regions. Scouts planted 2000 trees in their villages and towns with the help of their scoutmasters and parents. The project that was held between February and March, is a part of the golden jubilee celebration of the association founding, in addition to its belief in the importance of spreading environmental awareness to keep Lebanon as green as it has always been. "A Tree for Every Scout" is an environmental message that has been part of the Progressive Scout Association educational program over the past 50 years and is a promise to continue and develop this program over the coming years.
