Pack 39 Pioneer Habitat Conservation

The boys were worried that the birds in our local habitat were not eating enough food. We went to the local habitat and picked up trash first. The boys then tied string around the top of the pinecones. While wearing gloves the boys put peanut butter all around the pinecones. We then rolled the pinecone around in the wild bird seed. Each boy then picked out a spot to hang their bird feeder where the boys thought would be best enjoyed by the birds. The birds were enjoying their need feeders by the time we were leaving and the boys enjoyed touring the natural habitat.
