The purpose of the Symposium Inclusion and Diversity is to establish the basis for the definition of guidelines at the regional level to address adequately the topics of inclusion and diversity in the Scout Movement. The work carried out during the Symposium will contribute to: • Know the current situation that keeps the topics of inclusion and diversity in the NSOs of the Interamerican Scout Region. • Identify various entities dealing with these issues in the Region, meet their proposals and establish strategic alliances. • Disseminate successful experiences of National Scout Organizations that have worked these themes. • Propose guidelines to ensure that Scouting responds to the needs of inclusion and diversity in the IA Region.
