Inaugural run of Vande Bharat Express
The Vande Bharat Express, formerly known as Train 18, is an electric multiple-unit train operated by Indian Railways. The train services connect major Indian cities which are in a distance of less than a day's time. In the Northeast Frontier Railway for the first time the Vande Bharat Express started his journey form Guwahati station to New Jalpaiguri Station on 29th May 2023.
Two teams of the Bharat Scouts and Guides Northeast Frontier Railway Alipurduar District Association serve at the Vande Bharat train's inaugural run ceremony at New Alipurduar and New Coochbeher Railway stations. a huge crowd gathering was beautifully controlled by the Rovers and Rangers. Distributing water bottles, National Flags to the peoples also done by them.
Indian Railways has huge impact in India's economy. Vande Bharat is one of the first step towards the "Made in India" initiative. and our Scouting also equally connected with this things. Trains are one of the cheep and convenient way of transport and with this super fast train one can easily save their valuable times.
Distributing the National Flag in the inaugural ceremony it feels us too proud towards our country. Children's present there witnessed a huge gathering which they can say the next generations. That's why BP once said that "Scouting is a fun game" and nowadays we exploring and getting the taste of the worth of Scouting in our lives
