Howrah District-West Bengal-India-Messenger of Peace Workshop - II

Family Convent School A Messenger of Peace work shop was conducted by Bharat Scouts and Guides, Howrah District Association at Holy Family Convent School, 55/4 Rabindra Sarani, Liluah, Howrah, West Bengal at the afternoon of 24th October 2014. It was a sunny day, and 54 Scouts, Guides from 4 groups of our district and other respectable district officials attended the workshop. At 3:00 the workshop was inaugurated by the Vice Principal of Holy family Convent School. We started our workshop at 3:00 with prayer followed by introductory speech, and ended with Vote of thanks and National Anthem at 6:00 pm. The program covered the following subjects. i.e. the Ice Breaking videos along with Ball game, The main Messenger of peace videos along with Ball Game, Ooo Aa le le song, and Networking game simultaneously by rotation of two groups fallowed by photo session and networking videos, MoP Registration at Scout.org and a Dance on the M.O.P. official song. The workshop was ran by Sri Kamil Das, assisted by Sri Rajiv Ghoshami , under the supervision of Sri Kanchan Das, District Commissioner (Scout), Howrah, Honorary guest Mr B Jerom D Silva, of Sri Lanka Scout Association who also share his knowledge of Messenger of Peace ideas, views. We give special thanks to Sri Ayan Shenapati, District Organizing Commissioner (Scout) and Hony. Secretary Sri Tapan Kr Chaterjee for organising the workshop at the eve of Diwali, an all Indian festival.
