The Manipur State Bharat Scouts and Guides had observed Earth Day Celebration on 22nd April, 2016 at State Headquarters and State Training Centre, Langol Game Village Zone –(1), Imphal West, Manipur. All together 30 Participants from different units including State officials were attended. • On 21st April, 2016 We Prepared pits for planting trees. • On 22nd April, 2016 We planted 160 nos. of trees. On the 22nd April 2016, L. Parmeshor Singh, Headquarters Commissioner, Manipur State Bharat Scouts and Guides and Th. Heramani Singh, State Secretary, Manipur State Bharat Scouts and Guides, were the Chief Guest and President respectively in the said function. On that day we planted the trees around the SHQ and STC and awareness campaign at near by localities of our SHQ and STC. were also conducted. The Programme concluded and declared close at 3.00 pm. with light refreshment.
