Celebrating International Day of Peace 2018 - Messengers of Peace Volunteers Bali ft. Scouts with Disabilities

Starting from the second week of August 2018 (a month prior to Peace month), the "Disability for Peace" project was initiated. This project aims to involve Scouts with disabilities coming from various districts in Bali Island, as many as possible. These Scouts are taught Scout Songs and, most importantly, Scout Promise & Law and meeting twice in a month. Each meeting lasts for 2 hours, attended by 7 to 12 Scouts and assisted by 3 to 4 volunteers. They are given various activities - even though not everybody can follow all of them, their spirit remain strong and they would never give up learning. These Scouts will be given a chance for outdoor activities within the next 6 months, too! On Friday 21st September 2018, these Scouts were given information that "Today is the International Day of Peace". Once they got new knowledge on #PeaceDay, they immediately pledged for a #BetterWorld and started building peace among themselves from now on.
