Workshop on Messenger of Peace Startup and Networking in Mongolia 2016

The Scout Association of Mongolia conducted Workshop on Messenger of Peace Startup and Networking cooperating with MOP Mongolia at Nairamdal International Children's Center, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia 13-18 November 2016 for improving basic knowledge on Messenger of Peace and drafting start up plans and networking for the project. The workshop officially opened on 13 November 2016 and continued successfully for 4 days. Totally 27 participants 6 male, 21 female who are representatives from Sukhbaatar, Khentii, Uvurkhangai, Govi-Sumber, Dornogobi, Uvs, Zavkhan, Bayan-Ulgii, Bayankhongor and Ulaanbaatar Councils, attended in the workshop. Overseas resources speakers who assisted the workshop were Mr. Jazzer F. Sarona Executive of Program and Adult Resource Department of Boy Scout of Philippines and Mr. Madhusudan S. Avala Messenger of Peace Initiative from Bharat Scouts and Guide The workshop participants kept interaction actively during the group work and group or class discussions. The staffs are asked to provide participants with what they needed and to give feedback on day’s session to arrange the workshop schedule in a line according to the program. Purpose of organizing this workshop is to establishing a national Messenger of Peace network and conducting training and promotion activities about MoP will provide an opportunity for Mongolian scouts to become more involved in a global network, to share their own activities, to provide service to society and to volunteer at an international level.
