Training on the importance of solar energy and lighting the communities and making it a better place by go solar

SOLAR ENEGRY is heat from the sun rays.it is renewable and this not harmful to the environment and its clean energy from the sun .which help combat greenhouse gas emission and reduces our collective dependences on fossil fuel. When fossil fuel is burned, they emit harmful gases that cause air pollution and global climate change.

Solar power is the least energy resource that is not owned yet, ironically nobody taxes energy the sun yet indeed solar the only renewable energy technology with a commercially viable solution for integrating bulk energy storage in to the plant.

23-6-2019 training took place in Matanya village, Kieni East Sub County, Nyeri County where the community learned more on the importance of using solar energy and after the training the individual took home some solar lamps.

Some of the challenges facing the communities

  1. Lack of clean energy for cooking also has negative impacts on women and children’s health that means they spend time collecting firewood rather than doing schoolwork or other activities.
  2. Its becomes hard for the kids to do their homework or do there evening studies at home due lack of lights .
  3. Spend a lot of money to buy kerosene.
  4. Increased of theft in the village due lack to of lights.

Solar power enables the communities to save more money to spend on necessities. The cost of non-renewable fuels e.g. kerosene; diesel etc. is roughly 1500ksh monthly that could otherwise buy more than 15kg of rice.

Regardless of these disadvantages, the advantage of solar in areas illustrate that the development of better solar technology is beneficial for areas that otherwise would not be able to access electricity

sample way to make the communities a better place and help create the kind  of  vibe that makes people feel safe and happy.
Clean and affordable energy let go solar.
