Put yourself in someone else's shoes, try to buy food for the day with the least amount of money possible.
Over 1.3 billion tonnes of food is wasted every year. Challenge yourself to not wasting any food for two weeks.
Many fruits and vegetables are never bought from the store because of their funny shape, size of color. Buy "funny" fruit on your next trip to the market.
Buy your fresh food from a local market to support local farmers and business-owners.
A lot of people rely on food banks to feed their families. Donate unopened dry goods and shelf-stable foods to your nearest food bank.
Make sure no food goes to waste because of improper storage. Set up proper food storage and food preservation measures at all your camps.
Reduce food waste at home and during camps by preserving food through drying, freezing or any other preservation methods.
Understand the environmental impact of your daily food choices through the "Food Pyramid" activity in the Champions for Nature Challenge Action Kit.
Take the UN's Zero Hunger Challenge to make a difference in your daily life and joining the global campaign to end hunger.
